FAQ
1. How Many Stars Should I Choose?
960 stars is the most popular option for most vehicle projects, offering a good balance between visual effect and cost.
Many automotive brands also offer a 480-star version as an entry-level option, making it easier for customers to make a purchase decision while keeping costs lower.
For premium projects, 1440 and 1920-star configurations provide a denser and more luxurious star ceiling effect.
2. Can I Add Shooting Star Effects?
Yes.
300 shooting stars is the most popular option for most vehicle projects. It provides a balanced shooting star effect and works well with different star quantities.
More or fewer shooting stars can also be customized based on your market needs.
3. What Makes Your Star Light Different?
Most traditional star light systems display only one color at a time. Some multi-color systems can display 2 or 4 colors, but they typically use large projectors originally designed for home lighting applications.
Our new automotive-grade RGBIC design allows each fiber port to be controlled independently by IC chips. Depending on the number of modules used, the system can display 6, 12, 18, or even more colors simultaneously across the headliner.
Unlike home-use projectors, our system is designed specifically for automotive environments. It withstands vehicle startup voltage fluctuations, operates without a cooling fan, eliminates buzzing noise, and supports operating temperatures from -40°C to 80°C.
4. Can I Choose Different Star & Meteor Quantities?
Yes.
Star modules and shooting star modules can be added or reduced to create different product configurations, price levels, and market positioning.
5. Can It Be Installed In Any Vehicle?
The headliner kit can be installed in most cars, SUVs, MPVs, and luxury vehicles with a fabric headliner. Installation requirements may vary depending on vehicle design.
6. Does It Support App Control?
Yes.
Colors, brightness, effects, and lighting modes can be controlled through the mobile app.
7. What Lighting Modes Are Available?
The system supports:
Twinkle Mode
Single Color Mode
RGBIC Mode
Music Mode
Different modes can be selected based on customer preferences and vehicle applications.
8. Is Shooting Star Required?
No.
Customers can choose a standard star-only system or add shooting star effects based on market demand and budget.
9. Do You Support OEM & Private Label?
Yes.
Logo customization, packaging customization, and OEM/ODM services are available for automotive brands, customization shops, and distributors.
10. Why Is Separate Module Design Important?
Most traditional star light systems use integrated controllers that are not designed for automotive environments, which can make installation more difficult and limit product flexibility.
Our modular design separates key functions into independent modules, making the system more stable, easier to install, and better suited for automotive use.
It also allows flexible combinations of star and shooting star modules, helping brands create different product versions such as entry-level, standard, and premium models based on their market needs.
